Via Construction, a prominent company in Albania, was awarded the contract for the excavation works of the Llogara tunnel. This tunnel is a significant infrastructure project aimed at improving transportation between Vlora and the Albanian Riviera. The tunnel, measuring 5.9 kilometers in length, is expected to significantly reduce travel times and enhance connectivity in the region.

The construction began in November 2021, with the project set to be completed by the end of 2024. The total investment for the project is approximately 155 million euros. The tunnel will not only facilitate smoother travel but also support tourism and economic growth in the southern part of Albania.
